Triz Engineering Solutions is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead Industrial Simulation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of advanced simulation models for automotive production lines as well as the transition of engineering designs and data into production. Apart from being a contained and well-rounded person with a high EQ level, he/she will be required to deal with complexity in a fast-paced environment. The person needs to be a self-starter with attention to detail and bring a positive energy to the work environment, with a willingness to excel in their role.

We provide end to end engineering services for commercial vehicle engineering and development from feasibility and conceptualization, through productionization and service support. Our solutions include zero emissions such as battery electric- and fuel cell- as well as hybrid- or conventional powered products. We also offer solutions for other advanced vehicle technologies such as ADAS, vehicle autonomy and telematics. Our services are turnkey solutions that are validation tested and ready for mass production.

Our product development expertise includes medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles in applications such as delivery, bus, motorhome, off highway, refuse and several other specialized and vocational vehicle markets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10-15 years of post-graduate experience in developing and implementing simulation models for manufacturing processes, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in using simulation software such as Simio (experience with other simulation tools like Arena, FlexSim, or AnyLogic is a plus).
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, production line dynamics, and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, statistical methods, and optimization techniques.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing simulation projects and teams.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Willing to travel overseas for variable periods.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and validation of complex simulation models for automotive production lines.
    Delegate work to assigned engineering personnel.
  • Mentor and guide engineers, providing technical leadership and expertise.
  • Oversee the collection and analysis of production data to ensure accurate simulation model parameters.
  • Identify critical bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in production lines and develop strategic solutions.
  • Interpret and synthesize simulation results to provide high-level insights and actionable recommendations for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with senior management, production, and engineering teams to understand high-level requirements and objectives.
  • Present detailed simulation results and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance simulation accuracy, effectiveness, and overall production efficiency.
  • Transition engineering designs and data into production, ensuring seamless integration and implementation.

Working Hours:

08h00 –17h00, Monday to Friday (subject to change) with core hours and flexi time, and may require over time if operational required.
